Deep tissue massage in Chicago

Rich Cotter, licensed massage therapist in Illinois since 2005.

Deep tissue massage uses slow, firm pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle and the connective tissue around them. It's for the tension that a lighter massage doesn't touch: desk shoulders, a stiff lower back, tight hips.

Rich Cotter has done this work since 2005. He's also a yoga teacher and trains with kettlebells, so he understands what training and long workdays do to a body. He checks in on pressure as he goes; deep doesn't have to mean painful.
