DJ Microdot

October 25 · Closes the night, 8:30–10 PM

DJ Microdot came up in the 1990s Midwest rave scene and has spent his life keeping the raw, hard-hitting sound known around the world as Chicago techno alive and moving forward.

His hardware-driven style is shaped by the pioneers who built the city's sound: DJ Hyperactive, Mike Dearborn, Paul Johnson, Green Velvet and electronic composer Anthony Rother. In 2013 he moved from the decks into the studio, co-producing with Rob Threezy and Maddjazz, and later formed the live hardware duo PuftDank with his brother Lorenzo Vektor.

Microdot builds the scene as well as playing it. He runs IHeartTechno Events, launched IHeartTechno Records in 2022 to put out Chicago's underground artists, and started the outdoor series Under The Bridge, House By The Bean and GOTHAM.

On October 25 he closes the Full Moon Masquerade, 8:30–10 PM.
